Winemaker Notes
Rich, smooth and velvety, yet approachable and versatile at table. Marrying simplicity and grace with strength and majesty. Masi Campofiorin is a Rosso del Veronese IGT made using an ancient double fermentation technique. Produced with Corvina , Rondinella , and Molinara grapes in Veneto, this wine combines the freshness of Valpolicella with the complexity of Amarone. Aged for 18 months in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels, Campofiorin is a rich and harmonious wine.
Grapes : Corvina 70%, Rondinella 25% and Molinara 5%.
Aging : In Slavonian oak barrels and first-passage Allier barrels for 18 months.
Tasting notes : Intense ruby red color. The nose offers a complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, cherry, spices, and notes of cocoa. The palate is warm and velvety, with soft tannins and a lingering finish.
